Gemstones & Care of Your Gemstone Bracelet

WHAT IS A GEMSTONE:
A Gemstone is a precious or semiprecious stone that is formed by nature, whether from rock, ground or water.
Because gemstones are natural elements there will be variations in the color and shape of one particular set of stones. This will also be true in one bracelet. While RLT will attempt to have the most consistent stones in one bracelet design, it is almost impossible to ensure exact consistency.
CARE FOR OF YOUR RLT GEMSTONE BRACELET:
*Gemstones are fragile and vulnerable to perfumes, lotions, household chemicals and detergents, so they should be removed when showing, bathing or doing household cleaning.
*Gemstones should never be placed on glass or metal because they can scratch easily.
*Your Gemstone bracelet should be stored in a soft cloth bag or a separate area in your jewelry box to avoid damage.
* The black velvet bag provided by RLT Collection is perfect for storing your bracelet.
* RLT Bracelets are handmade and should be handled with care. While RLT takes extra care to ensure the longevity and durability in the craftsmanship of the bracelets, handmade items are more fragile.
METAL:
*GOLD-FILLED: RLT uses gold-filled accent beads, wire and clasp in the design of RLT Bracelets (useless otherwise indicated). Gold-filled is the next best metal to solid gold because it never changes color.
*STERLING SILVER: RLT uses sterling silver accent beads, wire and clasps in the design of RLT Bracelets. All sterling silver will eventually turn dark. Just take a sterling silver cloth/polish and polish the silver until the metal color comes back to its natural state.
*COPPER & BRASS: RLT uses copper and brass accent beads, wire and clasps in the design of RLT Bracelets. Copper and brass will change to a black/green color, just take a polish cloth or copper/brass cleaner and polish until the metal comes back to its natural state.
*BASE METAL: Occasionally, but rarely, RLT uses base metal in the designs of RLT Bracelets. Base metal will eventually change colors.
